Volunteer Early and Often

ICON is run entirely by volunteers, and we could use your help!

From setting up on Thursday to tearing down on Sunday, and everything  that happens in between, we need volunteers!

Thursday Volunteers: Ange & Brian Anderson (our wonderful volunteer coordinators)) will be leaving the hotel at 3:15pm to head to the storage locker in Coralville. If volunteers want to tag along with them, be ready at the hotel lobby by 3:15pm. If volunteers will already be in the Coralville/ Iowa City area and want to help pack up the truck, meet at the new storage locker location (Quality Care Storage :761 Camp Cardinal Blvd. Coralville, IA 52241) at 4pm. If meeting at the storage locker - Use storage locker entrance #2, on the right side of James St, just past the post office dropbox.  There is a large parking lot next to Sweets and Treats where you can leave cars while we unload.

Next between 5 and 7 PM Thursday, unloading at the hotel at the back door by the Rosewood Room.

Friday at 9 AM, set-up starts in earnest setting up the art show, freebie table, volunteer prize table, registration desk, etc.

Volunteers have the opportunity to earn prizes, including a membership for the next year's ICON (for only 20 volunteer hours).
