Second floor is the only room-party floor for ICON 35
Party Flyers: Party flyers are allowed to be posted on any bulletin board or grid in the hotel. Flyers must not be posted on any wall surface of the hotel regardless of the wall‘s material. Flyers are also not permitted to be posted in the elevator. All signage must be removed by noon on Sunday.
A Few Room Party Guidelines:

The Cedar Rapids Marriott has only approved the second floor for open room parties. If you have a party on another floor...do so at your own risk.

If you are serving alcoholic beverages, it is your responsibility to check the ID of any guest requesting alcohol. The magic date is November 5, 1989.

As the host, it is your responsibility to stop serving someone if you feel that they have had more than enough to drink.

If you want to have a room party at ICON 35 you need to email roomparties@iowa-icon.com with the name of the person who has reserved the hotel room, otherwise there is no guarantee you will be on the second floor and thus your open room party will likely be shut down
