Open Gaming/Game Library

Looking for a game to play? The Mindbridge Game Library and open gaming space will be upstairs on the second floor (near the consuite). Come check out our huge collection of board and card games for all ages, with play times ranging from 10 minutes to 8+ hours.

 

Pathfinder Central

On Saturday, the Dogwood Room will be Pathfinder Central, hosting Pathfinder roleplaying games from two different groups.

Pathfinder Society (PFS)

The local game group The Fellowship of the Blade will be running Pathfinder Society games on Saturday. (Pathfinder Society is a worldwide organized play campaign.)

You can sign up in advance for these games at http://warhorn.net/iowa-icon/; preference will be given to attendees who sign up in advance, but seats may be available at the convention — just ask!

Scenarios offered (full descriptions are available at the Warhorn site)

First Steps (Part 1, 10 am; Part 2, 2 pm; Part 3, 7 pm) : An set of three introductory modules for first-level PFS characters. Play one or all three.

The Midnight Mauler (10 am, 2 pm, 7 pm): For the more advanced Pathfinder player (levels 1-7). This scenario can only be offered by PFS Venture-Captains and 4-star judges, so don’t miss the chance to play it!

We Be Goblins (10 am, 2 pm, 7 pm): Stealing fireworks? How hard can that be? 1st-level pre-generated goblin characters are provided.

TPK Games

Iowa’s own publisher TPK Games will be running their own introductory Pathfinder modules and the scenario The Tomb of Caragthax the Reaver. These are not Pathfinder Society games; pre-generated characters will be available. Walk-ins welcome.
