Here at Icon we keep our masquerade simple. We encourage folks of all talent levels and interests. We don’t have special lighting. We don’t have curtains to come out from behind. And our sound system is relatively limited. What we do have is enthusiasm. And Handsome Anthony with his fabulous dance-ready sound system, so if you have music or a speaking part for someone other then the MC (who has the only microphone), we suggest you bring a pre-burned CD.
We also love seeing the kids, so every child under 13 who enters gets a prize.
So, if you have some pun you just can’t help but inflict on folks or if you’re just not ready to put away that Halloween costume, we’ll be ready and waiting for you.
Whether or not you're entering the masquerade, you're welcome to visit our masquerade aid station. Lynda and others can help you there with all (well, okay, most) of your Saturday-evening costume and makeup needs.
